COLUMBIA, Ky. –The No. 4 seed Bethel Wildcats fell short of reaching the conference finals with a 3-nil semifinal loss to No. 1 seed Lindsey Wilson Wednesday night in Columbia.
The Wildcats had a 12-9 advantage in shots and a 6-4 margin in shots on goal.
Lindsey Wilson (13-2-3) will face No. 3 Cumberland University in the finals Friday at 6 p.m. CT. Cumberland upset No.2 seed Cumberlands earlier in the day.
Bethel dropped to 13-4-1. The team will now await their fate for the NAIA Opening Round with the selection show slated for noon CT. on Monday November 13 on the NAIA Facebook page.
