MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats ended their regular season on a high note with a big comeback over Shawnee State Saturday afternoon in Crisp Arena.
After losing the first two set to the Bears, the Lady Cats swept the next three to win 3-2. Bethel won 18-25, 17-25, 25-19, 25-23 and 15-13.
Bethel moved to 10-11 overall and 7-9 in the MSC. SSU dropped to 10-11 and 8-8.
Hannah McGowan led Bethel with 19 kills and 18 digs. Katelyn Van Hooser had 27 assists and 13 digs. Sami Parker finished with 14 digs. Maggie Brooks was solid with 19 assists. Ashely Sommerfeld contributed with 12 kills while Kameshia Moxley had 10 kills.
