MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats swept visiting Thomas More in their Friday afternoon match at Crisp Arena, winning 25-22, 25-15 and 25-15. With the victory the Lady Cats moved to 9-11 overall and 6-9 in the MSC. Thomas More fell to 7-12 and 7-8.
Hannah McGowan continued her outstanding play on the season leading Bethel with 16 kills and 13 digs. McGowan is 7th in the MSC in kills with 272. Katelyn Van Hooser had another big effort with 21 assists and 10 digs. She is 12th in the league with 341 assists. Maggie Brooks had 14 dimes while Sami Parker finished with 12 digs.
The Cats close out their regular season with a 1 p.m. match Saturday in Crisp against Shawnee State.
