LEBANON, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats lost their second match in a row with a loss at Cumberland University Monday night. The Phoenix swept the Cats 25-13, 25-15 and 25-21.
Bethel beat the Phoenix 3-1 earlier this month in McKenzie.
Bethel fell to 8-11 overall and 5-9 in the MSC. CU moved to 10-15 and 7-6.
Brianna Monk led the Cats in digs with 16. Maggie Brooks had eight assists while Hannah McGowan had eight kills.
Bethel returns home to close out the regular season with matches on Friday and Saturday. They meet Thomas More Friday at 1 p.m. and then host Shawnee State Saturday in Crisp Arena at 1 p.m.
