MOBILE, Ala. – The No. 21 Bethel Wildcats ran their record to 5-0 with a 4-0 win over Johnson & Wales Sunday in a match played in the Mobile Soccer Classic in Mobile, Alabama. Johnson & Wales fell to 0-2 on the season.
Pascal Mohungsi scored the first goal from a cross by Michael Nwafor. Jaiquan Bristol scored the second goal on an assist from Mohungsi.
Alioune Diop scored the third goal from a corner by Silvio Xavier. Damani Haris added the 4th goal after an assist from Mohungsi.
Coach Malang Jarju said, 'These were two great road wins for us. The young men showed a lot of character and I am really proud of them."
The win came on the heels of Bethel's thrilling two overtime 3-2 win over Thomas University Friday night.
Bethel travels to Christian Brothers University Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match-up versus the Bucs.
