MOBILE, Ala. – The No. 21 Bethel Wildcats remained undefeated with a thrilling 3-2 two overtime win over (RV) Thomas University in game one of the Mobile Soccer Classic Friday night in Mobile, Alabama.
Pascal Mohungsi had the hat trick scoring all Wildcat goals. The Cats outshot the Night Hawks 24-10 and had a 12-4 advantage in shots on goal. Matheus Reis was credited with an assist on the first goal by Mohungsi.
Bethel ran their record to 4-0 while Thomas fell to 1-3 on the year. All three losses by the Hawks have been to ranked teams.
Bethel is back in action Sunday facing Johnson & Wales at 11 a.m. It will be a battle of the Wildcats. Johnson & Wales is 0-1 after losing to Mobile Friday.
