MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Volley Cats beat Lyon College for the second time on the season with a 3-0 victory over the Scots Monday night in Crisp Arena. With the victory the Wildcats improved to 15-11 while Lyon dropped to 17-13. Bethel swept the Scots 3-0 on September 3 in Batesville.
Bethel won 25-21, 25-11 and 26-24.
Maggie Brooks was sensational for the Lady Cats with 37 assists and 11 digs. Arielly de Souza continued her solid play with 19 kills while Hannah McGowan remained an important cog with 14 kills and 19 digs.
The Wildcats resume play traveling to Asbury Wednesday night. It will be the first of three straight road matches for Bethel.
