WILMORE, KY – For the second time on the season the Bethel Lady Wildcats swept Asbury, winning 3-0 in Wilmore, Kentucky Wednesday night. Bethel won 25-20, 25-21 and 25-19.
Bethel moved to 16-11 on the year. Asbury dropped to 10-12. Bethel has won seven of their last eight outings.
Arielly de Souza had 13 kills and 14 digs for the Wildcats. Hannah McGowan had 10 kills and 14 digs. Madison Ralph finished with 14 digs. The Lady Wildcats had 38 assists with Maggie Brooks having a whopping 34 of those.
The Lady Cats resume play Saturday traveling to Blue Mountain for a SSAC match-up. It will be just the second meeting ever between the programs. Bethel beat BMC 3-0 at Crisp Arena in early September. Action begins at 2 p.m.
