OWENSBORO, KY – The Bethel Volleyball squad won their eighth match Tuesday night winning 3-0 at Brescia in Owensboro. The Lady Cats won to improve to 8-3 on the season. The Bearcats fell to 9-11. It was the second win over Brescia on the season. The Lady Wildcats beat the Bearcats 3-1 to open the season on August 21. Brescia has dropped six of their last seven matches.
Bethel is 9-1 against Brescia in program history.
Bethel won 25-15, 25-22 and 25-17.
Hannah McGowan led Bethel with 13 kills and 18 digs. Rachael Gunn had another strong effort with 12 kills and 11 digs. Giulia Zilotti finished with 15 digs. Brooke Burress had 17 assists while Katelyn Van Hooser followed with 16 assists.
The Lady Cats return home to host SSAC foe Mobile Friday night in Crisp Arena with play beginning at 6 p.m.
