MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats remained unbeaten at home on the season with a 3-0 victory over the Fisk Bulldogs Tuesday night. Bethel improved to 5-0 in Crisp Arena and 6-2 overall.
It was just the third meeting ever between the two programs with Bethel holding a 3-0 advantage in the series which began in 2014.
Bethel won 25-16, 25-12 and 25-11.
Rachael Gunn led Bethel with 14 kills. Katelyn Van Hooser had 21 assists. Brooke Burress followed with 13 assists. SSAC Defender of the Week Giulia Zilotti had 13 digs.
The Lady Cats travel to Loyola Friday to face the Wolfpack. It will be the first of three straight road matches.
Bethel returns home September 28 to host Mobile.
