MOBILE, Ala. – After splitting their doubleheader Friday the Bethel Wildcats and the No. 14 Mobile Rams squared off in their weekend series finale Saturday afternoon in Mobile. After leading 1-0 the Rams broke open a tight game with a three-run sixth inning and went on to win 5-0.
The Wildcats managed only five hits in the game. Mobile had 16 hits in the contest.
Bretton Hazlewood took the loss while Kyle Friday went the distance for the Rams and picked up the win.
Mobile moved to 30-10 overall and 10-5 in the SSAC. Bethel returns home to host Georgia Gwinnett Wednesday at 4 p.m. with a 15-15 mark. They are 8-7 in the league.
