MOBILE. Ala. – The Bethel Wildcats saw their four game winning streak snapped Friday afternoon losing 6-3 in game one of their doubleheader at Mobile. The Wildcats bounced back however in game two winning 3-1.
Game one saw Bethel commit three errors which negated a good effort by starter Brady Jones who suffered the loss.
Bethel's Trevor Bishop pitched well in game two picking up the win. Axle Metzger recorded a five-out save. Jack Surber had the big hit in the eighth driving in two runs which proved to be the game winners.
Bethel is 15 -14 overall and 8-6 in the SSAC. Mobile is 29-10 and 9-5.
