MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Bethel swept William Carey 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Crisp Arena. The Lady Cats won 25-14, 25-19 and 25-14. It was Bethel's sixth win in their last seven matches.
Rachael Gunn led Bethel with 15 kills. Hannah McGowan followed with 14 kills. Brooke Burress and Katelyn Van Hooser each had 22 assists. Giulia Zilotti pitched in with 16 digs.
Bethel improved to 15-5 overall and 8-2 in the SSAC. WCU fell to 12-15 and 6-6. The victory evened the series between the two programs at 3-3.
The Lady Cats host Martin Methodist Tuesday at 7 p.m.
