MCKENZIE, Tenn. –After seeing their four game winning streak snapped at Martin Methodist Wednesday the Bethel Lady Wildcats bounced back with a 3-0 win over conference foe Loyola Friday night in Crisp Arena.
Bethel won 25-16, 25-22 and 25-18.
Bethel was led by Rachael Gunn and Hannah McGowan who had 18 and 12 kills respectively. McGowan also had 10 digs. Jessyca Watson had 10 kills. Brooke Burress and Katelyn Van Hooser had 20 assists each.
With the victory, Bethel moved to 14-5 overall and 7-2 in league action. The Lady Cats are 7-1 at home on the season. It marked the second win for Bethel over Loyola on the year. Loyola dropped to 13-14 and 3-8.
The Lady Wildcats play host to William Carey Saturday at 1 p.m.
