PULASKI, Tenn. –The Bethel Lady Wildcats fell at Martin Methodist 3-0 Wednesday in the SSAC Game of the Week. The game was a make-up game from October 2 when the Lady Cats were unable to reach Pulaski due to an accident on I-40. The accident did not involve the Bethel squad.
MMC won 25-23, 25-20 and 25-14.
The loss snapped a four game winning streak for the Lady Cats.
Hannah McGowan and Rachael Gunn had 12 kills each. Gunn also had 10 digs. Jessyca Watson followed with 11 kills. Katelyn Van Hooser had 19 assists while Brooke Burress pitched in with 17 assists.
Bethel dropped to 13-5 and 6-3 in the SSAC. Martin Methodist improved to 13-9 and 7-2.
The Lady Wildcats return home to face SSAC foe Loyola Friday night at 6 p.m.
