MCKENZIE, Tenn. –The Bethel Wildcats (RV) ran their unbeaten streak to nine straight with a 2-0 upset over No. 3 ranked Mobile Thursday night at Wildcat Stadium.
After a scoreless first period the Wildcats struck pay dirt with second period goals by Michael Nwafor and Pascal Mohungsi.
The Wildcats outshot the Rams 10-5 in a very physical yellow card affair and had a 3-0 shots on goal advantage.
The Wildcats moved to 11-2-1 overall and 4-0 in the SSAC. Mobile dropped to 11-2 and 4-1. The loss snapped Mobile's 10 game winning streak.
The Wildcats travel to William Carey for a 3:30 p.m. showdown versus the No. 1 Crusaders.
