MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The (RV) Wildcats upset No. 19 John Brown handily earlier in the season with a 6-0 win at Wildcat Stadium. They pulled off another and even bigger upset knocking off No. 8 Campbellsville 5-4 Friday night in McKenzie. The game was the SSAC Game of the Week.
Bethel moved to 5-1 while the Tigers suffered their first loss and fell to 5-1.
Mustapha Wadda scored two goals giving him nine on the season. Jaiquan Bristol and Leonardo Ferreira each had goals while the Cats had a huge on-goal score as well. Ferreira also had a big impact with two assists.
Bethel had a 19-11 advantage in total shots and had a 10-6 shots on goal mark.
Bethel returns to action traveling to Truett-McConnell on September 23. It will be the first of a two game road trip as they face Life University the following day at 6 p.m.
