CLEVELAND, Ga. –The Bethel Wildcats fell to 5-2 on the season with a 3-1 loss at Truett -McConnell Saturday afternoon. Truett McConnell moved to 7-1 on the year.
Bethel was outshot 16-11 on the day. Truett had a 9-6 shots on goal advantage. Marco Taaffe recorded six saves for the Wildcats.
Jerry Wiltsher scored a second period goal to give Bethel a 1-0 lead but the home team scored three unanswered goals to win.
The Wildcats travel to Life Sunday afternoon for a 5 p.m. match.
