CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - The Lady Wildcat Volleyball squad opened the 2017 season in Campbellsville, Kentucky Tuesday night falling 3-0 to the Campbellsville (RV) Lady Tigers. Campbellsville dominated for the most part winning 25-8, 25-11 and 25-11.
Giulia Zilotti (JR/Sao Paulo, Brazil) led Bethel with 11 assists. Daisy Liljenquist (SR/Dyersburg, TN) had 10 digs while Brianca Mayfield (JR/Memphis, TN) had five kills.
The Lady Wildcats dropped to 0-1 while the Lady Tigers moved to 1-0.
The two squads meet again October 5 in McKenzie.
The Lady Cats travel to Dayton, Tennessee Friday and Saturday to compete in the Bryan College Bash. They meet Bryan (1pm.) and Pikeville (5pm.) Friday. They face Southeastern University (1pm.) and Asbury (5pm.) Saturday.
