NEW ORLEANS, LA- It was a short turn around for the Bethel Lady Wildcats Saturday as they traveled to New Orleans after a Friday night loss to William Carey in Hattiesburg. That did not deter Bethel however as they swept Loyola University 3-0. Bethel won 25-19, 25-19 and 25-19.
Jessyca Watson led Bethel with 13 kills. Katelyn Van Hooser had 16 assists. Brooke Burress followed with 14 dimes. Brianca Mayfield had 10 digs.
Bethel improved to 11-13 overall and 7-4 in the SSAC. Loyola dropped to 13-15 and 3-8.
Bethel is back in action Friday and Saturday closing out regular season action at home. They host Faulkner Friday night and will meet Mobile Saturday in Crisp Arena.
