Volleyball Falls in Lebanon
LEBANON, Tenn. – The Bethel Volleyball squad saw their four-game winning streak snapped with a 3-0 loss at Cumberland University Thursday night in Lebanon.
The Phoenix pulled away late in the first set, winning 25-17. Set two was tight with Cumberland edging out the Cats, 25-23. The home team took set three, 25-17.
Nayeli Vilchez led Bethel with 27 assists. Hannah McGowan had 14 digs.
Bethel dropped to 16-6 overall and 5-5 in the MSC.
Cumberland moved to 15-5 and 8-3. It was their third straight win.
The Cats return home to face Lyon College Saturday at 2 p.m.
