Volleyball Wins at Mississippi University for Women
COLUMBUS, MS – The Volley Cats rebounded from a tough home loss with a convincing 3-0 road win at Mississippi University for Women Thursday night in Columbus.
Bethel won 25-17, 25-11 and 25-11.
Bethel moved to 10-4. MUW fell to 6-6. Bethel now leads the series 3-0.
Hannah McGowan led the Cats with 13 kills. She is 12th in the nation in kills. The New Orleans native also had 13 digs and six aces. Nayeli Vilchez recorded 26 assists for the Cats. Alex Lipsey had 10 digs while Sami Parker had nine digs.
The Cats return to action Saturday hosting Cumberland University at 3 p.m.
