MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcats, fresh off their stunning 80-69 upset win over No. 3 Cumberlands (KY) will host the No. 16 Georgetown Tigers at 3 p.m. Saturday.
It will be Pepsi Mid-America/Dr. Pepper Day with special giveaways and a special presentation at halftime of the women's game (1 p.m.) introducing Derek Horne as the new "VP of Athletics." There will be a meet and greet between the games, and all are invited to welcome Mr. Horne to the University.
The Cats are 15-2 on the year and 1-0 in the MSC.
Bethel is 9-1 at home this year and 166-60 all-time in Crisp Arena which opened in 2012.
The Tigers are coming off a road loss at Freed-Harderman and are 13-4 and 0-1.
