MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Bethel Wildcats pulled off a thrilling five-set win over Brescia in a hard-fought matchup on Monday. After trading momentum throughout the evening, the Wildcats showed resilience down the stretch to claim the 3-2 victory.
Brescia took the opening set 25-20, but Bethel answered with a strong second set, evening the match with a 25-18 win. The third set proved to be a nail-biter, as Bethel edged out a 27-25 victory to grab a 2-1 lead. Brescia responded in dominant fashion, cruising to a 25-12 win in the fourth to force a decisive fifth set.
In the final frame, the Wildcats held their composure and closed out the match with a 15-11 win, sealing the 3-2 triumph.

With the victory, Bethel improves to 3-3, while Brescia moves to 5-9. The Wildcats return to action on Thursday September 18th, at Cumberland University for Mid-South Conference action.
