MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The No. 16 Bethel Wildcats pushed their record to 5-0 with a 3-1 win over Texas A & M Saturday night at Wildcat Stadium.
Bethel led 1-nil at the break. Hubert Oduya Kompany scored on a penalty kick to give the Cats the advantage.
Greg Cousins gave the Cats a 2-nil lead in the second period.
Kompany added a late goal on another penalty kick to push the margin to 3-nil.
The Eagles scored a late goal to make it a 3-1 final.
Bethel had a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Eagles had a 12-9 margin in total shots.
Bethel travels to Williams Baptist Tuesday for another non-league game.
