BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament got underway Thursday in Bowling Green, Ky.
The opening round and quarterfinals are taking place at Ephram White Gym. The semifinals on Friday and the championship match on Saturday take place at Bowling Green High School.
Tickets are available for purchase at https://www.mid-southconference.org/hometown-ticketing. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
The sixth-seeded Bethel Wildcats ran their record to 21-9 with a convincing 3-0 win over 11th-seeded Pikeville.
The Cats won 25-14, 25-5, 25-23.
First Team MSC All-Conference performer Hannah McGowan led Bethel with 10 kills and 11 digs. Fellow 1st team all-conference standout Nayeli Vilchez had 22 assists and 10 digs. Dominika Skoneczna and Ashely Sommerfeld contributed with eight kills each.
Bethel will meet Thomas More (17-11) at 5:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals. The Saints are the No. 3 seed.
TMU beat Bethel 3-2 in McKenzie during the regular season.

The MSC Women's Volleyball Tournament Semifinals take place on Friday at 5 p.m. CT and 7:30 p.m. CT at Bowling Green High School. The championship match is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT on Saturday at Bowling Green High School.
