CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. –After dropping their last road outing at Cumberland University, the (RV) Bethel Wildcats bounced back with a 1-0 win at Thomas More Wednesday afternoon in Crestview Hills. The Cats had given up a season high five goals in Lebanon but came back with a tremendous defensive effort against the Saints.
Thomas More had a 7-3 advantage in shot on goal but one of those three attempts proved to be the game winner. Nicolas Ruiz scored at the 35:08 mark. That proved to be all the Cats would need.
Norberto Lima Vieira recorded three saves in the match.
Bethel moved to 7-2-2 overall and 3-2 in the MSC.
TMU fell to 7-3-1 and 2-2-1.
The Cats are back in action Wednesday hosting Georgetown at 7:30 p.m.
