HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Bethel Volley Cats avenged an earlier season loss to Freed-Hardeman Tuesday night in Henderson, beating the Lady Lions 3-0. FHU had beaten Bethel 3-1 in early September in Crisp Arena.
The Cats won 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.
With the win, Bethel moved to 18-6 overall and 6-5 in the MSC. The Cats are 9-2 in road action this year. FHU fell to 13-11 and 4-7.
Nayeli Vilchez led the Cats with 39 assists. Hannah McGowan had 13 kills and 11digs. Kameshia Moxley had 13 kills. Dominika Skoneczna had 10 kills. Sami Parker had 15 digs.
The Lady Cats are back in action Friday night at home hosting Mississippi University for Women. Action begins at 7 p.m. It will be Senior Night with ceremonies taking place just before the beginning of the match.
