MARIETTA, Ga. – The Bethel Wildcats had a strong effort but dropped their second match in a row falling to (RV) Life University in Marietta, Georgia Saturday afternoon. The Lady Wildcats led 21-16 in set one only to see Life rally for a 25-23 win. Life took set two, 26-24. Bethel won set three (26-24) but Life won the fourth set, 25-16.
Bethel's Kameshia Moxley had a strong effort with 10 kills. Katelyn Van Hooser finished with 22 assists and 13 digs. Hannah McGowan had 16 digs while Maggie Brooks had 18 assists and 10 digs. Lindsey Christianson contributed with 19 digs.
Bethel dropped to 6-9 overall and 4-7 in the Mid-South Conference. Life moved to 23-6 and 7-3. Life has an impressive 13-3 mark at home.
Bethel returns home Monday to host Lyon College. The non-conference match will begin at 6 p.m. The JV game will precede the match and begin at 4 p.m. All fans are expected to follow protocols as set by the school and listed on the athletic site at www.bethelathletics.com
