COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 25 Bethel Lady Wildcats and the No. 13 Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders battled into two overtimes Tuesday in Columbia before LWC won 1-0 on a goal by Claudia Santillan Escobar.
The Blue Raiders had a 22-7 margin in shots and a 10-1 advantage in shots on goal. Bethel's Shanay Ricketts was brilliant in goal with nine saves.
Bethel dropped to 4-4-1 overall and 1-4-1 in the MSC. Lindsey Wilson moved to 7-1 and 7-1.
Bethel returns home to host Freed-Hardeman Friday at 2 p.m.
