PIKEVILLE, Ky. –After capturing their first road win of the season Friday at the University of the Cumberlands, the Lady Wildcats attempted to make it two in a row as they traveled to Pikeville Sunday to face a struggling UPIKE squad which had lost seven in a row.
The Cats made it two straight road wins with a 3-0 victory over the Bears. Bethel won 25-11, 25-17 and 25-15.
Hannah McGowan led Bethel in kills with 19. Lindsey Christianson had nine digs while Maggie Brooks was the leader in assists with six.
Bethel moved to 5-7 overall and 4-5 in the MSC. Pikeville dropped to 2-8 and 0-7.
Bethel travels to Lyon for a Tuesday night match-up which begins at 6:30 p.m.
