CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. The Bethel Lady Wildcats snapped a four game winless streak with a 1-0 win at Campbellsville Sunday afternoon.
Maria Fernanda Campos scored a second period goal which proved to be the game winner. Ashari Bowen had the assist.
Bethel was outshot 12-10 but had a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal. Molly Grace Watkins recorded two saves in the game, one of those in the last minute of the game.
Bethel moved to 4-3-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the MSC. Campbellsville dropped to 6-4 and 4-3. The loss snapped a three game winning streak by the Tigers.
Bethel travels to Lindsey Wilson Tuesday to meet the No. 13 Blue Raiders. Action begins at 3 p.m.
