MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats lost to conference foe, Life University Saturday in Crisp Arena. Life won in three sets, 26-24, 26-24 and 25-22.
Hannah McGowan had 13 kills for Bethel. Katelyn Van Hooser had 12 assists and 11 digs.
Bethel dropped to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the MSC. Life improved to 16-3 and 2-0.
Coach Starla Cupples stated," We struggled to close today. We never really found our rhythm. Although it's frustrating, we are learning and growing daily. We will reflect and work harder to be ready for Tuesday's match vs Cumberland."
The Lady Cats host the Phoenix Tuesday at 7 p.m. The JV squad plays CU at 5 p.m.
