OWENSBORO, Ky. – With their 4-3 win at Kentucky Wesleyan Friday, the Bethel Lady Wildcats are off to their best start in ten years at 2-0 on the season.
Lexi Daniels was one of the highlights for Bethel as she clinched the match with a 6-1 and 6-2 win in her match.
Coach Derrick Hubble was pleased with the win. "I'm very pleased as our young ladies stepped up and played well. Watching this group in the early stages of this season tell me it will be a fun journey this season. This team continues to grow and play well and I'm super proud of them for the efforts today."
Action continues Saturday in Owensboro with the Lady Cats meeting Brescia at 10 a.m. and then future conference foe Georgetown at 1 p.m.
