OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats split their matches Saturday in Owensboro, beating Brescia 5-0 and falling to No. 16 Georgetown 5-0.
Highlighting the play against the Bearcats were double's victories by Anabella Baralt and Lexi Daniels, along with Samantha Stone and Kelsie Seiber. Freshman Daniels, Stone and Seiber also captured single's wins. The clinching match came from Anabella Baralt who dominated winning 6-0 and the 6-1 in the second set.
Coach Derrick Hubble said, "I'm proud of this young ladies they continue to be very positive and play with a lot of energy. They played very hard today and have found their way to a 3-1 start."
The Cats complete play at the Centre Courts Sunday facing Alma College at 10 a.m.
