CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – The No. 8 Bethel Wildcats faced a stern test Saturday night in Campbellsville, Kentucky facing the Tigers of Campbellsville Tigers at Finley Stadium. The Cats lost for the first time on the season falling 1-0 to the Tigers. Bethel dropped to 7-1-1 while the Tigers moved to 5-1 on the year. It was CU's fourth straight victory.
Campbellsville's Marc Lawrence scored a second period goal for the only score of the match. The Tigers outshot the Wildcats 15-13. Both squads finished with six shots on goal. Bethel's Luis Borja had six saves for the Wildcats.
Bethel resumes play Saturday hosting No. 4 William Carey in a SSAC and national showdown.
