MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats gained a measure of revenge with a 3-0 win over the Freed-Hardeman Lions Tuesday night in Crisp Arena. FHU beat Bethel earlier this season in Henderson. The Lady Wildcats ran their record to 12-10 and 7-1 at home. The Lions fell to 14-9 and 4-4 on the road.
The Lady Wildcats won 25-22, 25-21 and 26-24.
Arielly de Souza and Hannah McGowan led the Bethel attack with 13 kills each. Katelyn Van Hooser continued to mount up assists with 23 on the night. Maggie Brooks had 15 assists while Madison Ralph had 11 digs.
Bethel returns to action Saturday at Florida College in a SSAC match beginning at 10 a.m. CST.
