Lady Soccer Cats Lose at Martin Methodist

PULASKI, Tenn. – The No. 25 Bethel Lady Wildcats and the No. 10 Martin Methodist Lady RedHawks met for the 23rd time in history Saturday afternoon and MMC continued their winning ways in the series. With their 2-1 victory the Hawks have a 22-0-1 advantage in the series.

Bethel dropped to 6-4-1 overall and 1-2 in the SSAC. Martin Methodist moved to 8-3-1 and 2-0.

Janine Dennis had Bethel's only score in the match. MMC had a 17-10 advantage in shots and an 8-6 margin in shots on goal. Bethel's Shanay Ricketts had six saves on the day.

Bethel resumes action on October, 18 hosting Florida College at Wildcat Stadium. Game time is 5 p.m.
