COCHRAN, Ga. – The Bethel Lady Wildcat soccer squad lost their SSAC opener Thursday night falling to Middle Georgia State 1-0 in Cochran. Bethel (RV) dropped to 6-4 overall. MGS improved to 5-4-1 and 1-0.
A first period goal by MGS's Miagh Downey was the only score of the match. Bethel's Jenna Mullen had three saves in the game.
MGS had a 14-12 advantage in shots and a 6-5 margin in shots on goal.
Bethel travels to Brewton-Parker for action Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. CST.
