DAYTON, Tenn. –The Bethel Lady Wildcats lost a heartbreaker at Bryan College Saturday in Dayton, Tennessee falling 2-1 in two overtimes to the Lions. Both teams left the pitch at 1-1 on the season.
A first period goal by Danijela Kolaric gave Bethel a 1-0 lead and that score would be the only one of the first period. Cassidy Reynolds had the assist on the Bethel score.
Bryan's Summer Ghaffari tied the match in the second period. Both squads remained scoreless going thirty five plus minutes tied at 1-1. The teams went to the second overtime before BC's Makena Giles scored with 3:18 left to give the Lions the victory.
Bryan outshot Bethel 18-14 although Bethel had a 7-3 advantage on shots on goal.
