JACKSON, Tenn. –The Wildcats traveled to Jackson Friday to meet the Union University Bulldogs in an exhibition match at the Smith Memorial Soccer Complex. The hard fought late afternoon affair saw the teams battle to a 1-1 tie.
Leonardo Ferreira scored for the Cats while Gavin Scott had the lone Bulldog score. Marco Taaffe recorded three saves for Bethel while Luis Borja had one save.
The Wildcats travel to Memphis Tuesday for a 5:30 p.m. exhibition against Rhodes College. The Wildcats open their season at the University of the Cumberlands on August 24. Bethel will play host to Life University on August 31. The home opener is set for 7 p.m.
