MOBILE, Ala. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats dropped both games at No. 7 Mobile Friday afternoon losing 12-0 and 2-0.
In game one Mobile scored five runs in the first and four in the second while cruising to the big five inning win. The Rams had twelve hits while Bethel managed only one in the game. Dominque Todd had Bethel's only hit. Casey Wade suffered the Wildcat loss while Karley Sanders picked up the Ram victory.
In game two the Cats outhit the Rams 5-4 but single runs in the fifth and sixth proved to be the difference for the home team. Sydney O'Connor was the winner for Mobile while Billie Douglas was charged with the loss.
Bethel has lost six straight and is 13-33 overall. They are 7-19 in the SSAC. Mobile is 34 -11 and 18-6.
The Lady Wildcats play No. 12 William Carey Saturday in Hattiesburg with the doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
