MONTGOMERY, Ala. – No. 1 seed William Carey defeated No. 2 seed Bethel 3-1 to win the 2018 SSAC Men's Soccer Championship, presented by Newk's Eatery. The 2018 SSAC Men's Soccer All-Tournament Team was also announced, highlighted by SSAC Men's Soccer Championship MVP Joaquin Ruiz Cabello.

· The Crusaders jumped ahead to a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals within a span of two minutes after Michael Conejero opened with a penalty kick in the 12th minute and Alvaro Adan Urrea added a goal in the 14th minute
· The game remained scoreless until two more goals in the 82nd and 83rd minute, with Bethel's David Boompong bringing the Wildcats within one, only to see Clairy Kengeye answer right back moments later
· Bethel out-shot the Crusaders 18-9, but put only three of those on frame, compared to five for William Carey
William Carey upped their record to 17-0-1 while Bethel dropped to 15-4-1. Two of their four losses were to WCU.
