MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Bethel Volley Cats and the Barons of Brewton-Parker met for the 10th time in history Friday night. The Lady Cats continued their dominance over the Barons with a 3-0 victory. Bethel is 10-0 all-time versus BPU.
Bethel won 25-11, 25-17 and 25-19.
Brooke Burress led Bethel with 16 assists. Katelyn Van Hooser had 13 dimes. Giulia Zilotti contributed with 13 digs while Hannah McGowan had nine kills.
Bethel ran their record to 10-4 overall and 4-2 in the SSAC. Brewton-Parker fell to 2-17 and 0-7. The Barons have lost eight straight.
The two teams meet again November 2 in Crisp Arena.
The Lady Cats remain on the road traveling to Middle Georgia State Saturday. The match is slated for noon.
