HATTIESBURG, MS- The Bethel Lady Wildcats dropped their third straight falling to No. 2 William Carey 7-0 Saturday afternoon in Hattiesburg.
WCU led 4-0 after one period and cruised to the victory scoring three goals in the second period.
The Crusaders out shot Bethel 25-8 and had a 13-0 advantage in shots on goal. WCU had a 6-1 margin in corner kicks.
The Lady Wildcats fell to 8-7 overall and 1-4 in the SSAC. William Carey moved to 13-1 and 6-0. It was the ninth straight win for the Crusaders. Bethel is 0-9 all-time versus WCU.
Bethel travels to Florida College Thursday with action beginning at 5 p.m. CST.
