Women’s Soccer Wins at Georgia Gwinnett
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The (RV) Bethel Lady Wildcats won their 10th game of the season Saturday beating Georgia Gwinnett in Lawrenceville. The Cats beat the Grizzlies 3-1 to run their record to 10-2-1.
Georgia Gwinnett fell to 4-12-1.
First period goals by Audrey LaRue and Kalina Stanisic gave Bethel a 2-1 lead after the first period. LaRue's goal was her team leading eighth of the year.
Kelly Nunes had an insurance goal in the second period. The assist was by Carla Cebollada.
The Cats had an 11-8 advantage in shots and an 8-4 margin in shots on goal.
Alicia Perez recorded three saves for the Wildcats.
Bethel closes out their regular season Tuesday at home versus the Cumberland Phoenix. Action begins at 5 p.m.
