Soccer Cats Win at Talladega

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The 17^th ranked Bethel Wildcats were on the road Friday traveling to Talladega, Alabama to meet the Talladega Tornadoes.

The non-conference affair saw Bethel come away with a 2-1 victory.

Two first period goals by Bethel's Prince Badu proved to be enough for the Wildcat victory.

Bethel outshot the Tornadoes 11-4 and had a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Ethan Arrignon had three saves to help the Wildcats secure the win.

The Cats improved to 8-1-4. Talladega dropped to 3-5-2.

It was just the second meeting ever between the two programs with Bethel winning the only other match in 2015.

The Wildcats travel to Cumberland University on the 23^rd to battle the Phoenix. The action will begin at 2:30 CT.
