Bethel University Baseball Welcomes Arthur E. Stenberg IV as New Assistant Coach
MCKENZIE, Tenn. Bethel University Baseball is proud to announce the addition of Arthur E. Stenberg IV as the program's new Assistant Coach. With over 20 years of coaching experience across collegiate and professional baseball, Stenberg brings a wealth of knowledge in player development, pitching strategy, and talent recruitment to the Wildcats.
Stenberg most recently served as the assistant coach at Cameron University, where he was instrumental in designing effective pitching plans and attracting high-level recruits. His career is highlighted by standout leadership roles, including Manager of the Tupper Lake Riverpigs, whom he led to a stellar 20-6 record and a regular season championship. As head coach of the Niagara Power, Stenberg guided the team to both the NYCBL Regular Season and Postseason Championships.
"Arthur is an elite baseball mind and a proven leader," said Bethel Head Baseball Coach Rusty Thompson. "His track record in developing talent and winning at multiple levels is exactly what our program needs as we continue to grow. Our players will benefit immediately from his experience, passion, and ability to connect on and off the field."
Stenberg's coaching resume also includes time with respected programs such as IMG Academy, University of Tampa, New Market Rebels, and the Savannah Bananas. As a former professional pitcher for the Pensacola Pelicans and a standout collegiate player at the University of Tampa, he understands the game from every angle. He holds certifications in advanced pitching techniques and data integration, ensuring a modern, analytical approach to coaching.

Over the course of his career, Stenberg has mentored 32 players who were selected in the MLB Draft and has played a role in five professional free-agent signings. His ability to prepare athletes for the next level underscores his value as both a coach and mentor.
Stenberg earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Sports Management from the University of Tampa. As he begins this new chapter at Bethel, the Wildcat Baseball community looks forward to the impact his leadership will have on the future of the program.
