Cats Take Series Finale at Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, Ky. – After losing leads and dropping the first two games of their series at Georgetown, the Bethel Wildcats turned the tables on the Tigers Sunday afternoon.
Trailing 3-2 in the ninth, the Cats scored two runs and beat the Tigers 4-3. CJ Thomas drove in the two runs which proved to be the difference.
Cade Pilkinton and Jack Beck had driven in earlier runs for the Cats.
Bethel out hit Georgetown 7-5.
Nathan Rhodes picked up the Wildcat win while Adriel Vega earned the save.
Bethel improved to 16-18 overall and 4-10 in the MSC.
The Tigers fell to 9-26 and 4-11.
Bethel closes out their conference schedule Friday and Saturday hosting Lindsey Wilson in a three-game set.
