OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – The Bethel defense was solid, but the Cat offense struggled in a 1-nil loss in women's soccer Monday night at Oakland City.
The Lady Cats were outshot 17-5 and the Oaks had a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal.
A first quarter goal by Oakland City's Pauline Vinciguerra was the only score of the match.
Bethel's Alba Lopez Guerrero was fantastic in net with eight saves.
Bethel dropped to 1-5-0 while Oakland City improved to 4-2-1.
The Cats return to action Saturday traveling to Williams Baptist. Action begins at noon.
